Sushi Sei Honten - Fresh and Affordable Sushi
When I talk about the famous Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, almost everyone starts raving about Sushi Dai or Sushi Daiwa. I wasn't prepared to start queuing at 4am in the morning for either of these two popular sushi restaurants so I decided to find something as good, without the insane queue. This was how I discovered Sushi Sei Honten, a two-storey restaurant in Tsukiji.

Inoichi (Kyoto) - Dashi-broth Ramen and Excellent Rice Bowls
Inoichi 猪一 is a popular Bib Gourmand Ramen Restaurant in Kyoto. Don't be surprised if you see tourists in queue with their luggage. Apart from their famous ramen prepared with simmered fish broth, which has been touted as the best ramen in Kyoto, their rice bowls warrant a try too.

Hooked@Edge - My Favourite Buffet in Singapore has Even More Seafood Now!
When asked where's my favourite buffet place in Singapore, my answer is always "Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore". The spread is always incredibly extensive, especially luxurious and of only the best quality. My favourite sections are the dessert corner, seafood on ice section and live grill station, but I also love the pasta, bread and sashimi sections! The buffet line-up has recently been revitalised with new creations and diners can look forward to Oatmeal Crayfish, Nyonya King Prawn Laksa, Wok-fried King Lala Beehoon, Cuttlefish Tagliolini Pasta, Prawn Panggang with Sea Salt, Steamed Mussels Pot and more.

#WTF - The New Kid at 49 Club Street
So, 49 Club Street used to be the home of Drinks & Co, a place where I frequent more than I would like to admit. Drinks & Co has shifted a few doors down, with a refreshed concept. In its place is now #WTF. I wanted to have a look at their menu but the place seemed packed so I didn't really want to go in but one of their staff spoke to us and told us that there is no service charge here. Now, I have to go in and have a look, right?

Canton Paradise(Marina Bay Sands) - Quality Dim Sum and Cantonese Cuisine
These Piggy Buns ($6.80/3pieces) are almost too adorable to eat! I'm sure you've seen numerous pictures of them on social media. These buns are filled with smooth molten salted egg yolk custard and are quite the delightful treat.
Canton Paradise's latest and sixth outlet at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands aims to please with a plethora of Cantonese dishes and dimsum.

The Reading Room Cafe - Newly Launched Weekend Brunch
The Reading Room has been around for four years now and the quaint little cafe is a book cafe by day, and bar by night. The cafe is stocked full of books and vintage decorations. There's a little piece of Paris in this place and I like that very much.
