When I was first spurred on by Kimberley to give a herbal liqueur a try, I was wondering if there was a new product in town. Growing up with the folks had me quite accustomed and familiar with the various kinds of herbal liqueurs in the market. Yet, like many in our generation, we steered away, or at least I did, from these herbal liqueurs as the appeal wasn’t there. They come across as something for the older generation, not as trendy as the various forms of alcohol close to our hearts. However, I didn’t see that I had anything to lose, especially now that the draining university examinations were over

The new kid in the Bukit Timah neighbourhood, Rise & Grind has been drawing a great amount of attention to the very old Bukit Timah Plaza. There's hardly any reason for me to go there except for some late night pool but Rise & Grind is almost reason enough for me to make a trip there specially. Because, that Tom Yum Pasta.

Chabuton has launched its latest Yoruton Ramen congruent to the opening of their fourth outlet at Millenia Walk. The first-ever ramen chef to earn a Michelin star, Chef Yasuji Morizumi has created this particular ramen with five levels of spiciness to cater to the Singaporean taste bud. At $12.90, the ramen is priced lower than most of the ramen in the market
