Yoruton Ramen @ Chabuton
Amidst the numerous ramen chains that have expanded to our shores, Chabuton Ramen has prided itself in offering specialty ramen, exploring the endless possibilities that the simple Japanese noodle dish can take on
Chabuton has launched its latest Yoruton Ramen congruent to the opening of their fourth outlet at Millenia Walk. The first-ever ramen chef to earn a Michelin star, Chef Yasuji Morizumi has created this particular ramen with five levels of spiciness to cater to the Singaporean taste bud. At $12.90, the ramen is priced lower than most of the ramen in the market

Hungry Heroes @ 33 Tessensohn Road
When you let a Captain America fanatic pick a dinner venue, this has to be it. We came to Hungry Heroes all hungry and expectant. The place was very nicely dolled up with life sized superhero models, tons of pictures and figurines. However, we were greeted with rather poor service on arrival and it kinda did affect the rest of the meal.

FUKU Fine Fugu Kaiseki Restaurant @ Mohamed Sultan Road
Media Invite
Fugu (pufferfish) is known for its ability to poison and kill, should it be ingested without being cleaned properly and thoroughly. Many have stayed away from fugu as a result. I am one of them, having heard a story from an acquaintance about his near death experience with fugu. I kinda made a promise to myself to never try it. But when the fugu is completely treated in Japan before being flown over, passing the stringent import regulations of the AVA and being prepared by the only licensed fugu chef out of Japan in Asia, there's really no reason good enough to stop me from trying fugu.
There are more than 120 fugu species in the world but only about 20 are fit for consumption. The Torafugu, which is the most premium pufferfish of all, is served right here at FUKU. 100% safe and only the best. Fugu is available at FUKU all year round and every edible part of the prized fugu is employed in the preparation of various dishes

Choya Cocktails @ Neon Pigeon
Media Invite
Made from the ume fruit, Choya is an all-natural traditional Japanese liqueur that requires a year to produce. The ume fruit has been commonly mistaken as plum but it is in actual fact, very different from plum. Choya is typically enjoyed right from the bottle or on the rocks but how does a Choya cocktail sound?
