When life presents you with such intensely marbled Kuroge Wagyu from Kagoshima, what do you do? Well, I took a few moments to admire its beauty and thank the Gods before entrusting the experts to cook this to perfection. Then, I prepared myself for the fireworks that were about to go off in my mouth. I've had alot of barbecued beef, having been in Korea for a month. And even the best one that we had, which was really damn good, didn't come close to this.

Helmed by Peranakan chef, Philip Chia, Penang-born street-food chef, Frankie Ooi, and our very own Anglo-Hainanese chef, Bermuda Say, can you guess the three types of cuisine served at this railway-themed restaurant?
Paying tribute to Singapore's colonial heritage and set on creating a dining establishment where they can reminisce their childhoods, the owners of Straits Express decided on a concept that evokes nostalgia and a menu boasting delicious and familiar comfort fare

ANJALI CHOCOLAT has relocated from Pasarbella at Turf City to Loewen Road, next to Dempsey. With its new location, comes a spanking new chocolate studio, Temper. Tucked deep inside Loewen Road, this is not the easiest place to find, and impossible to get to without private transport but it might just be worth the effort if you're looking for premium chocolates crafted from the finest ingredients (think French butter, Belgian Chocolate etc).
