Red House Seafood - Best Pen Cai for a Prosperous & Auspicious Chinese New Year 2022!
Longstanding
Red House Seafood is one of the oldest seafood restaurants in
Singapore, and it's no surprise at all. Consistently sending out the
tastiest seafood dishes crafted by old master chefs, the restaurant,
which currently has 3 outlets, is always a hot spot for an amazing
dinner, and intimate reunion feasts. The outlet at Grand Copthorne is
the prettiest one of all, and is also a popular venue for wedding
banquets. My family used to go to Red House Seafood alot when I was a
kid, but as I grew up, we had fewer dinners together and haven't been
back in awhile. After trying a few highlights from the Chinese New Year menu
at Red House, I immediately told my family that we are heading back
here for CNY!

PORTA(Park Hotel Clarke Quay) - An Impressive Christmas Feast That Won't Break the Bank
In celebration of the most joyous season, PORTA at Park Hotel Clarke Quay has launched a Four-Course Festive Menu($66++) that's inspired by winter favourites. I believe that the menu, which is only available from 23-25 December, and on 30 and 31 December, is unbeatable in terms of value, especially during the Christmas period when Christmas feasts cost a bomb. PORTA is the place to bring your loved ones if you're looking to impress them, without burning a big hole in your pocket.

Stickies Bar - Where the Price of Your Drink Depends on the Time
Stickies Bar is truly the place where the early bird catches the good worm. The bar opens at 12pm, and the price of drinks is priced by the hour. If you order at 230pm, each drink will only cost you $2. Think Pure Blonde for $2? A glass of wine for $2? Holy moly, is this for real?

FUKU Fine Fugu Kaiseki Restaurant @ Mohamed Sultan Road
Media Invite
Fugu (pufferfish) is known for its ability to poison and kill, should it be ingested without being cleaned properly and thoroughly. Many have stayed away from fugu as a result. I am one of them, having heard a story from an acquaintance about his near death experience with fugu. I kinda made a promise to myself to never try it. But when the fugu is completely treated in Japan before being flown over, passing the stringent import regulations of the AVA and being prepared by the only licensed fugu chef out of Japan in Asia, there's really no reason good enough to stop me from trying fugu.
There are more than 120 fugu species in the world but only about 20 are fit for consumption. The Torafugu, which is the most premium pufferfish of all, is served right here at FUKU. 100% safe and only the best. Fugu is available at FUKU all year round and every edible part of the prized fugu is employed in the preparation of various dishes

Same festive season, same communal dining concept, but different cuisine. How does a Japanese-inspired reunion dinner sound? The three festive menus available cater to groups of 4 to 10 pax and they feature at least eight authentic Japanese dishes including this creative yusheng tower that comes with amaebi, tobiko, kanpachi and salmon. We tried the $666 menu catered for 6-8 people. Read on to find out what to expect!
