Arban Hotel - Best 3 Star Hotel in City Centre of Busan(Seoul)
When Singaporeans head to Seoul, they usually consider visiting Busan or/and Jeju as well. I've been to Korea multiple times and this was my first time in Busan. My family took a train from Seoul to this popular tourist destination that's best known for Haeundae Beach and Jagalchi Market. For our accommodation, we chose Arban Hotel which is centrally located. It's surrounded by shops and convenience stores, so that's a bonus.

The Best Food & Cafe Guide to Yeonnam-dong(Seoul)
Yeonnam-dong is where the cool kids go these days, because Hongdae and Samcheong-dong are way too packed with tourists. The influx of tourists in Hongdae led to the sprout of pretty cafes and a ton of eateries in Yeonnam-dong, which can be accessed from Hongik University Station. As you walk along the streets of Yeonnam-dong, you'll see interesting sights such as people having a picnic on the lawn, and young bands doing their stuff. It's very much like the Hongdae back in 2012, just more vibrant and lively. If you're keen on a cafe-hopping day trip to Yeonnam-dong, this article is for you!

Mangwon Market - Fewer Tourists, More Food, Loved by the Seoulites
Mangwon Market is loved by the locals. There are way fewer tourists here as compared to Gwangjang Market, or Noryangjin Market. I found the food offerings here to be more appealing than those available at the other markets. If you're thinking of coming by, this post on the must eats, or what to eat at Mangwon Market might be useful!

24 Guesthouse Namsan - The WORST Place to Stay in Myeongdong(Seoul)
If you’re heading to Seoul, DON'T DON'T DON'T stay at 24 Guesthouse Namsan in Myeongdong.
I booked this room for 7 nights (22nd - 29th June) for $53.85/night via Airbnb. It's a single room with private bathroom and tv. When I checked in, I was
told by the receptionist that they didn’t have a single room and they
will give me a room for 2. I was confused so I said huh, and he repeated himself again. I thought he meant a twin bedroom or a double
bed room. Guess what room I got?

Butterfinger Pancakes @ Gangnam (Seoul)
I've heard alot about Butterfinger Pancakes even before I left for Korea. I had been bugging X to go there ever since I touched down and we finally went there on our last Saturday(three weeks later...) in Korea.
It's within walking distance from gangnam train station but cabs are really cheap in Korea so we suggest that you just cab everywhere haha unless its like REALLY far away.
A great variety!
Cute menu
Iced Caramel Macchiato - 6,900 won
Iced Mocha - 6,900 won
The macchiato was too milky and lacked the coffee taste. We noticed that most tables ordered only a drink and we only realised why later on. It is because you can "remake" your drink! So you can get another glass for free! So 6,900 won is absolutely worth the money
Butterfingers Favourites - 13,900 won
Pancakes, sausage patty, bacon strips, hash, eggs, butter, syrup
There was nothing exactly worth mentioning in this dish except that the vanilla honey butter was really special and X really liked the maple syrup haha
French Sponge Bath - 15,300 won
Toasted ciabatta, under a thick corn beef based cream sauce, with grana-padano cheese flakes, parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese and tomato wedge
This was interesting at first but got really boring shortly. The dish lacked savouriness and I got sick of the cheese and cream after awhile. There are crackers hidden under the cream sauce so the texture of the dish was unique. The ciabatta was very nicely toasted. It looks pretty appetizing, doesn't it? Wished it tasted as good as it looked.
Banana and Nut Pancake - 6300 won
Thick, fluffy, soft and a little crisp. Pretty much the perfect pancake with bananas waiting for you in the middle of the little pancake heaven. It was really awesome. Even the nuts were really fragrant!
For my choice of butter, I chose "I can't believe its not butter"
And all I have to say is I really can't believe that this is not butter!!!
It tasted every bit like butter. How can this not be butter??!?!
Butterfinger Pancakes is really popular and it was packed when we were there. It was however, very smoky and we reeked of oil when we stepped out of the place. The Koreans are very used to dining in such environment, especially in barbecue joints. X, hates such places though hahaha he can't stand the smell of oil and smoke and wanted very much to get out as soon as possible.
It was quite an expensive meal that didn't quite live up to our expectations.
To be safe, go for their pancakes!

Sunnyne Dog Cafe @ Hongdae (Seoul)
Sunnyne Dog Cafe is located in Hongdae!
It's definitely my favourite place!
I went there 3 times during my one month stay in Korea while X went there twice and he also went to the dog cafe in Myeongdong!
Everyone has to order a drink and here's my hot chocolate!
The Spitz that fell in love with X hahaha
The friendly owner asked if he could borrow my camera and he started snapping pictures of all his precious doggypals resting on the floor
The very smart Goldie!
Overweight Corgi
Pug that's blind in one eye
There are 3 Borders. One of them is the mummy and the other 2 are her son and daughter
Seductive Maltese
MY FAVOURITE!!! Her name is Pear-soh which means snow white or something!
The schnauzer that tried to steal my drink..
A mixed that looks like a pom!
Very elderly poodle
Jin-do
Dachshund
The English Sheepdog belongs to a Korean celebrity! She's damn hyper and active and is an entertainer haha
SECOND VISIT:
She looks so happy!
The very naughty puppy that looks like a husky-mix
Pretty girllll
So cute! Reminds me of Waffles
Angsty Cocker
FINAL VISIT:
British Bulldog
Six months old Pomeranian. AWWWWW. She puked on me after I took a picture with her hahaha
They close at ten and it was around 9.40pm when the Goldie sat at the table, waiting for me to hand him the bill. The Goldie has been trained to pass the billholder to the cashier! I have a video of it!
AWWWW again
Very clingy haha
The drinks there aren't exactly cheap. A hot chocolate and iced green tea cost about 14,000 won. But its definitely worth the money! [:
Do mind your belongings as the dogs tend to pee everywhere so they might pee on the table too! The owner is extremely friendly and nice and he'll occasionally carry the small dogs to you and put them on your lap haha. Don't miss this place if you're in Seoul!
The cafe is located on the second level so do look out for the bright yellow signboard while walking along the streets!
