Where & What to Eat in Singapore (Tourist Edition)

I'm not well-versed in local cuisine at all but I came up with this list with the help of www.misstamchiak.com. Hopefully, travellers and tourists will find it useful!
 
Where to go for Lunch(Local Cuisine) :

Location : Hong Lim Food Centre (explore Chinatown/Clarke Quay after)

Tai hwa hill street noodles (cheapest Michelin-starred meal in the world) : Bar chor mee

Casual Japanese dining (Singapore's standard of sushi/Japanese food is probably the best outside of Japan)
The Sushi Bar at Ngee Ann city : try the Kaisendon, chawanmushi, scallop mentaiyaki 
Fat Cow : Beef Donburi 
Kakiin Oyster Bar : garlic fried rice, karaage
