When Tokyo is mentioned in a conversation, it's more often than not that
the topic is about food. While many rave about Ichiran, Afuri, Sushi
Dai, Shake Shack, Red Rock, Luke's Lobster and some of the must-eats
that Singaporeans always go for, I'm here with a list of
recommendations that are not usually talked about. You most definitely should not miss them when you visit Tokyo!
Guud Fills dishes out halal Mexican fusion burrito bowls packed with delicious olive egg fried rice, pico de gallo, corn, house-made sauces, and a variety of proteins.
The bestsellers are the Australian Striploin Burrito Bowl and Black Pepper Smoked Duck Burrito Bowl. Portions are substantial and every bowl is filling and satisfying. Clients can look forward to a myriad of flavours and textures that come together beautifully to create the perfect lunch.
Hello everyone! So my pup, Snuffles, and I left Singapore on 15 June 2022 and we travelled around Europe and the UK for 13.5 months. We just flew home on Singapore Airlines on 2 August 2023 and I thought I would do up this post since I know how everyone wants to travel with their pups! Here’s everything you would potentially need to know, I think, and if you have any questions, you can DM me on Instagram @kimberleyyeo or drop me an email at kimberleyyeo@gmail.com

Snuffles and I went to Tromso with the sole aim of catching the elusive Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis. We were too early for other winter activities such as dog-sledding or whale watching which was quite sad, but I guess we just wanted to make sure that we caught the lights! We were there 1-4 October 2022. It took me awhile to find a dog-friendly company that will accept Snuffles on the almost 10-hour tour.
Dog owners are constantly looking for dog-friendly cafes and restaurants to take their precious furkids because we just want to bring our babies with us everywhere we go (myself included)!! So I've decided to compile the ultimate guide to dog-friendly/pet-friendly cafes and restaurants in Singapore! I believe this is the only guide you need so do bookmark it and check back often as it will be updated constantly. I can't keep track of all the changes that take place so while I strive to keep this list as accurate as possible, I'll advise you to make a reservation where possible, and give the eateries a call to double check! If you know of a dog-friendly venue that's not on this list, please let me know! Do also share with me your favourite dog-friendly places, and the best dog-friendly cafes or restaurants in your opinion!

Maison Astor might just be the best dog-friendly hotel that I’ve
stayed in on my entire 6 month holiday in Europe. Built by John Jacob
Astor IV, the 4 Star Curio Collection by Hilton property has an
impressively rich history which dates back to 1907. Housing rooms in 9
categories, and suites in 4, the opulent Maison Astor is located on a
quiet and safe street in the heart of Paris(8th arrondissement) between
the Opera and Champs-Elysees. The magnificent hotel is the perfect base
to explore popular attractions and visit luxury shopping streets
such as Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Whether you're on a romantic
honeymoon, or a relaxing vacation with your family and pup, Maison Astor
promises a marvelous stay that you will remember for a long time to
come.
Inspired by The Humble Crumble in London, Maltby Crumble Bar is my latest venture! It's essentially an extension of my ice cream and cookie brand, Twice Young. When I was living in London, I visited The Humble Crumble in Borough Market a few times. I loved the concept, and how you can dress up your crumble however you like — with custard, drizzles, and a variety of toppings. I starting working on this concept when I returned from my 13.5 month vacation in Europe and the UK with my dog, Snuffles, and tested it at Baker X at Orchard Central in December 2023.
I decided to name the concept Maltby, because we were actually living near Maltby Street in London, and I loved the area! Also, my dog is a Maltese and one of our favourite countries on our trip was Malta! It just seemed very apt, and the name sounds cute too haha
I spent a few months perfecting the recipes for both the stewed apples, and French butter crumble. It's sad that we can't get Bramley apples here, so we are using Granny Smith apples. For now, we only have apple crumble, but we are thinking of creating a berry crumble and a banana one in the future. At Maltby Crumble Bar, you can jazz up your apple crumble with ice cream, custard, drizzles and a myriad of sprinkles such as chocolate crunchy pearls and wildflowers.
Twice Young's signature ice cream flavours will be available on rotation, and our signature brown butter cookies, that we have sold tens of thousands of, will be available as well.
Maltby Crumble Bar is currently taking residency at Pinhole Coffeebar at 27 Purvis Street, #01-02, until the end of March
