CAPASSO is the new kid in the Telok Ayer/Amoy area which is already home to countless restaurants and bars. Helmed by Chef Fernando Arevalo, a familiar name in the local food scene, CAPASSO is a fearless and bold outfit that pushes out contemporary Italian dishes inspired by memories of Chef Fernando's granddad. The restaurant, which also boasts an extensive selection of wines, whiskies, and yummy cocktails, strives to provide an equal space where women can explore and enjoy whiskies alongside their male counterparts. I love that CAPASSO understands and values the tastes of ladies, and is here to smash the stereotype of whiskies being a drink more suited to the palate of men. Hurray to that!

The Ledbury - The Two-Michelin-Starred Restaurant in London Where I had My Best Meal of 2023
Discerning
Londoners with a penchant for the finer things in life will definitely
have been to, or at least have heard of The Ledbury in Nottinghill. The
brainchild of famous restaurateurs Brett
Graham, Phil Howard and Nigel Platts-Martin have held on to the
two-Michelin-star accolade for years before they shut their doors during
the pandemic. They reopened to much fanfare, with tables booked up in a
jiffy. I was in the UK for 7.5 months and I heard of The Ledbury from a
friend who has been in the UK for 11 years. He told me he had the best
meal of his life at The Ledbury back in 2015. I was really excited when I
managed to get a reservation. Because I was dining alone, and plenty of
Michelin-starred restaurants do not take lone diners, I was pretty
certain that I wouldn't be able to give myself a birthday treat here. I
decided to try my luck and I sent in an email to the team, and
thankfully, they welcomed me with open arms!

Best Dog-Friendly Accommodation in Sicily!
Sicily
is one of the most beautiful places that I've ever been to. Even though
I only had just over a week to spend here, and it was a mad rush
visiting 4 different cities, I was really glad that I added it to my
itinerary. Sicily is, no doubt, one of, if not the most dog-friendly
places in Europe. Sure, Germany. France and Switzerland are incredibly
dog-friendly but our four-legged babies aren't allowed in supermarkets.
In Sicily, the supermarkets even have trolleys with a designated area
for your pups to sit in. I was so amazed and impressed! I love that the
people here love dogs! Here are the four dog-friendly hotels or bed and
breakfast that we stayed at :
