Lady M is a household name. Most of all would have at least tried their signature mille crepe cakes, which the brand is famous for, but have you tried their savoury items before? Well, I haven't, until I visited their newest and sixth outlet in Singapore, Lady M Champagne Bar, on the third level of ION Orchard. Furnished with plush seats, marble tables, and gold finishings, Lady M's first ever champagne bar in the world promises a luxurious tea time where patrons can indulge in delicious champagne, exquisite cakes and outlet-exclusive signatures.
Sweet : Signature mille crepes, Champagne mille crepe, seasonal cake of the month, petit very berry tart, pink petit choux
Savoury : Lobster toast, truffle cream crab tartlet, mushroom duxelle vol-au-vent, egg mayo sandwich, cucumber & cream cheese sandwich
I especially enjoyed the pink petit choux, seasonal cake of the month (strawberry shortcake), lobster toast, truffle cream crab tartlet, and champagne mille crepe cake.
We also tried the Lobster Fettuccine ($32) and Cold Angel Hair with Caviar ($40). Doused in a rich and creamy sauce, the tasty Lobster Fettuccine was well seasoned and topped with plump lobster chunks. It can be a little jelak if you were to finish the entire portion on your own, so I'll recommend that you share it with a friend. I could have finished the entire plate on my own though! I really enjoyed it.
The Angel Hair carried an appetizing sour tinge, and that imported European caviar was certainly a nice touch. If I were to have this as a main course, I would have found the portion too small but I am a big eater. Those who fancy a little luxe treat might find this right up their alley.
