Twice Young - Fresh Luxe Handcrafted Icecream for Humans and Pawlato™ for Dogs, in Singapore!

 

Hey guys! I've recently set up Twice Young (@wearetwiceyoung), an online delivery business churning out fresh premium handcrafted ice cream, cookies, and cookie pie for humans, and a range of ice cream for DOGS! Everything is handcrafted with only the freshest and finest ingredients. As you know, I’m very particular about my food and ingredients so you can be sure that the quality is definitely top notch! There’s no additives or preservatives in any of the products.

I have sold about 3000 cookies thus far! I have many returning customers and a couple even ordered 330 pieces as wedding favours.

While I’m exceedingly excited about the human icecream, I’m actually more thrilled to launch the doggo range(and we might just be the only ones offering freshly made icecream for dogs in Singapore!) You see, I have an adorable little Maltese named Lord Snuffles and he’s quite a food connoisseur. I cook for him every meal and he eats as organically as possible, and often indulges in steak and lamb. My friends have said that he eats better than them and many have asked if they can be my dog HAHA. I don't feed Snuffles anything a human wouldn't eat. Snuffles loves uni and otoro (won’t even eat salmon sashimi but will eat salmon belly smh). He even is particular about the textures of his selected vegetables and doneness of his eggs (HALP). No choice, as his slave, I have to keep the menu fresh so I make him cookies and pizza and have been experimenting with icecream for him. It took awhile to earn his approval for the doggo icecream because he actually dislikes banana, mangoes and strawberries. It’s been a tough journey but I’m glad I’ve received his paw of approval! You don’t know how discouraging it is to see him take just a sniff and walk away, or spit out his food... haha. It’s always been my dream to do something doggo-related. Have thought of a dog cafe or dog daycare (basic of course) but I think it’s quite out of my reach at the moment so I’m starting small. Never thought I would say this but I’m actually thankful that I have a tough-to-please doggo who pushed me onto this extremely unexpected path of churning out homemade icecream.

I hope all the puppers out there love the doggo icecream as much as Snuffs does because it will make me the happiest!! The doggo icecream is made entirely with premium human grade ingredients so it can be consumed by humans as well. There’s no added sugar so all the sweetness comes from the ripe fruits. Packed with vitamins and probiotics, the icecream can be given to your dogs daily as a refreshing treat, snack, or reward. A few customers bought the Strawberry icecream for their doggos initially, and proceeded to place orders for themselves after having a taste of it!

With the growth (hopefully) of this business, I hope to eventually be able to donate more money to dog shelters, animal sanctuaries and wildlife conservation projects(especially for koalas, fairy penguins and maremma sheepdogs!)

 

I will be collaborating with home bakers as I go along so that we can all grow together!

Delivery is free for orders above $60. Otherwise, it’s $10. Orders will be accepted via DM @wearetwiceyoung or via www.wearetwiceyoung.com. Orders will be dispatched every Wednesday and Satuday, and self collection is available at 1 Ford Avenue daily.
