Resorts World Genting - New Attractions, New Mall, New Eateries
Resorts World Genting is constantly bringing new attractions and new dining options to visitors and guests. Although it's probably most known for First World Hotel and Genting Casino, the property is way more than just that. Home to 7 different hotels that cater to every budget, and group sizes, Resorts World Genting has made its mission to be one of the hottest one-stop travel destinations in Asia. Apart from a lxurious stay, guests can look forward to spanking new attractions, go on a shopping spree, and stuff themselves silly at internationally acclaimed restaurants. Here's a 3D2N itinerary for those looking for a short getaway from Singapore.
Day 1 :
Check in to Theme Park Hotel
The spanking new hotel is super spacious and the beds are really comfortable. This might be a room for 2 but it can definitely accommodate 4 people! The hotel has rooms tailored for couples on a romantic getaway, families, and even large groups of 6 people. The next time I come to RWG with my friends, I'm definitely staying here!

Dinner at Medan Selera
Asian delights and Western fare are both available!
There are tons of dining options, coffee places, and dessert spaces so why not grab some churros as you walk around the mall?
Pop by Sky Casino
Whether you're keen to try your hand at a round of blackjack or not, you should definitely pop by the new Sky Casino to have a look!
Day 2 :
Breakfast at The Food Factory
How about a buffet to kickstart the day?
Visit Exciting Attractions
Ripley's Believe It or Not
Jurassic Research Centre
Zombie Outbreak. This was my favourite attraction. Go on a really dark trail where you'll be spooked by fake and "real" zombies! Zombie Outbreak is certainly not for the faint-hearted so enter at your own risk!
Snow World was pretty fun! Besides sledding around, you can slide down the ramp too! It was really cold, like -10 degrees celcius I believe. I was freezing, even with the thick winter coat and gloves on. For those who want to experience "snow" or how it's like to visit a country in winter, pop by Snow World!
Lunch at Malaysian Food Street
Needless to say, Malaysian Food Street is packed with tasty local favourites. You can find everything from wanton mee and char kway teow, to fish head curry and bak kut teh. There's something for everyone here, for sure!
Afternoon Bowling
Pit your skills against your pals and see who emerges as the bowling champ
Take in the Sights on an Awana Skyway Cable Car
Go for the cable car with the glass floor! You can choose to stop at any of the stops along the way.
Dinner at The Coffee Terrace
Singporeans love buffets and you can have your fill of sashimi and more here!
Wind Down at RedTail by Zouk
Electronic beer pong, live soccer matches, "life-sized beer pong" and more, await at the coolest bar in Resorts World Genting. For fans of their iconic sour tail shots, you'll be more than pleased to know that you can get them in bottles here! Zouk will be opening in September, so all you party animals know where to go!
Day 3 :
Lunch at Motorino
After a wonderful rest, wake up to the lovely fragrance of freshly baked pizzas and sink your teeth into crisp slices of dough topped with fresh ingredients, and their popular chicken wings.
After lunch, it might be time for you to make your way back home to Singapore. Genting is not exactly super near, but it's not that far either. If you're planning for a quick getaway that won't burn a big hole in your wallet, Resorts World Genting is a fantastic choice, especially when there's just so much to do here!
