From now till May 2017, diners can look forward to 5 new themed buffets at J65, the all-day dining restaurant at Hotel Jen Tanglin. No matter what your craving is, J65 has got you covered with their International buffet, Asian flavours buffet, lobster-centric buffet, live barbecue night and seafood galore buffet.
I popped by on a Thursday for the live barbecue night! The alfresco stations is the barbecue pit where you can pick your favourite meats or seafood. Don't miss the famous Korean Bulgogi of pork belly and beef ribs.
Although this wasn't supposed to be the highlight, the roast beef was quite a stunner.
Despite it not being Wednesday(Lobster Rock-n-Roll night), there were still quite a number of lobster dishes. Other items that you might like to try include Champagne pork ribs, Prawn Masala and Black Pepper Crab. The dessert selection has quite a good mix of both Western and Local flavours. Think Earl Grey Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cake, Egg Tarts and Durian Pengat. Also, if you like kueh pie tee, you will be pleased to know that you can make your own here! I enjoy making my own with lotsa prawns and eggs.
