The folks behind Populus have struck with their second venture. Located within FIVE Square at the Great Eastern Centre is Senate Coffee, a specialty coffee kiosk that serves up healthy grain bowls and nutrient bowls. If you've tried the grain bowls at Populus and are a fan, you'll be pleased to know that you can get them here too! A darker roast is served at Senate Coffee so do expect a nuttier and less acidic cuppa.
While they have their signature grain bowls on offer, diners can craft their own with a variety of add-ons.

I had soba noodles with pulled pork and five of their add-ons. This meal is perfect for those seeking healthier alternatives for lunch. It's a little too healthy for me but I did enjoy the mushrooms and pulled pork.
Senate Coffee is only two days old and will be looking into expanding their menu so stay tuned !
