Art Workshop for Charity, Christmas Light-up Ceremony, “Fullerton Chefs for a Cause” Charity Buffet Dinner @ The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
Christmas came early for me as I spent a wonderful evening at the gorgeous Fullerton Hotel participating in an art workshop, experiencing the delightful Christmas light-up ceremony and feasting to my heart's content at Town Restaurant
Art Workshop
My papier mache hippo before colours were added.
30 beneficiaries of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF) came together to paint their own papier mache hippos while lending a hand in painting a giant one which will be on display. Their hippos are all prettier than mine! These kids have real talent!
Christmas Light-up Ceremony
The lights were switched off for a short period while the staff of Fullerton walked up the steps holding candles, accompanied by the sweet melody from the handbell performance
At the touch of a button, the hotel was restored to its full glory
"Fullerton Chefs for a Cause" Charity Buffet Dinner at Town Restaurant
To raise funds for The Straits Times Pocket Money Fund, Mr Giovanni Viterale, General Manager of The Fullerton Heritage, and Executive Chef Sandro Falbo were stationed at the live pasta station whipping up the Italian classic Scialatielli Pasticciati e Provolone for guests.
The buffet spread consists of local flavours such as laksa, chicken rice and ice kachang too!
If you're looking to bring an absolutely delicious dish to a Christmas gathering, do keep the Beef Wellington with Mushroom Duxelle in mind! Also, the limited edition Fullerton Santa Plush Bear is super adorable and perfect as a Christmas gift. For every bear sold, $10 goes to the SPMF where resources are dedicated to helping children and youths from low-income households get through school.
