I got my nails done before attending Maureen's wedding! This is the first time that I've done my nails since my JC prom in 2008. I'm really not too much of a girly girl. And I've never paid any attention to my nails. In fact, I love peeling my nails. I always admire girls with nice pretty nails but I know I can't have them because they will chip all too soon as I'm just generally careless and do not take care of my nails. Plus, I've to wash alot of things at Kaffles. However, Cindy reassured me that the Gelish Nails will last for 4 to 8 weeks and are very hardy. I was initially really skeptical and I know nothing about nails and I didn't want to waste her efforts for giving me beautiful nails when I most probably would ruin them the next minute. But she convinced me to give it a shot!
Gelish nails will cost you $50 easily for just a coat of colour at any nail salon outside. You may get a cheaper rate at certain salons but you have to take into consideration the quality of the nail polishes that they use. Cindy has a large range of colours and she uses really premium polishes that are pretty exclusive. A classic gelish manicure will cost only $35 with Cindy!
Another thing that most salons do not possess is this machine that sucks in all the tiny particles that emerge from nail-buffing. You can see these really small dust-like particles floating around during the buffing of your nails and inhaling them is, obviously, not good for you. So Cindy got this expensive machine that sucks away all these particles, taking extra care of your health
The LED lamp dries up your nails really quickly, leaving you little room and time to potentially damage your nails.

I've received so many compliments on my nails and I am very proud to say that these nails have braved two weeks of intense washing and scrubbing at Kaffles and are still going strong! A couple of my guy friends took notice of my nails and showered compliments, which is very rare. All the girls that I've met in the past three weeks also asked about my nails. Even a server at a cafe asked me where I did my nails too!
