Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters @ Upper Thomson

 photo P6245553.jpg
One of the most popular cafes in Singapore, Pacamara has been wow-ing the masses with its bright and white interior, and pretty and delish food. This is one cafe that always appears on my instagram feed. And I've finally found time to pop by for brunch on a weekday to escape the crazy crowd.

Iced white
The cold latte from Oz Specialty has a special place in my heart and I was so glad to still be able to enjoy it at Pacamara. I've missed you!

Truffle Benedict - $18
I love how pretty the presentation is. Those free range poached eggs were perfect and they were brilliant with the honey ham. I thought that the hollandaise could use a little more truffle though. But the brioche was definitely better than good.

Salted Caramel Banana French Toast - $16
This should have been heaven for me. Its all my favourite things on one plate. While the soft and crisp french toast was delightful with the generous serving of salted caramel and bananas, I felt that one could get sick of this dish pretty quickly. I would highly recommend this to be shared. Doubt I'd have been able to finish up more than 3/5 of this on my own.

Truffle Fries - $8
We were tempted to get the truffle fries after we finished our mains and we did. It was rather disappointing considering that the taste and aroma of truffle oil was only present on the topmost part of the little mountain of fries. The rest was pretty much, just normal fries.

I'd come back here for sure. Loved the ambience, the vibe, the coffee and would love to try the other items on their menu too! Lastly, parking might be a problem so you might wanna park opposite at Thomson V2 or the open air carpark!
