We tried the famous Golden Custard Lava Cake ! And...
For $12, I'd expected better than a molten centre that carried all but a slight hint of salted egg yolk. The overall taste of salted egg yolk was weak or largely absent and was easily overpowered by the taste of the chocolate cake. And the chocolate cake wasn't even that chocolatey to begin with. I think that the lava core could use some work. This is one of those things that you just have to try once in your lifetime, but I'll definitely return for an improved version.
Also, when I asked if the cake was still available, a server told me that they've ran out of it. And I was like "huh... but I came here specially for it" so he went back to the kitchen to check again and he came back with good news, saying that they could release one for me. I don't really know how that worked out but I'm thankful nonetheless!
