TAO Seafood is one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore and I'm so glad to be back here for their Chinese New Year feast! Yaowarat Road, in Thailand, is a bustling food heaven and Chef Lee and his team have brought five lunar new year classics from Yaowarat (with a TAO twist of course) to diners this year!

Skin Lab Medical Spa @ Wheelock
Sponsored Post
I popped by Skin Lab at Wheelock for my first ever facial treatment ever. I met with Iris for a short consultation session where she took a brief look at my face and could immediately tell that my skin was dry and had a thick layer of dead cells. And all along, I thought my skin was pretty good.. Haha oh the horror. I was given more information on the different treatments available at Skin Lab. They focus mainly on face-related treatments and procedures but also perform slimming procedures and such. I learnt more about fillers, botox and non-surgical facial modifications too

Miam Miam @ Bugis

With two outlets in Singapore and breaking into other countries step by step, Miam Miam has brought to Singapore delicious fare made from scratch using top-grade ingredients. Dishes are not only affordable and innovative, but bound to leave an impression and have you craving for more
Featured here is one of the most popular items at Miam Miam, the Miam Miam Spaghetti. A large plate of generous ingredients atop a bed of spaghetti that has the most interesting texture that I've ever encountered. Honestly quite mindblown by the mouthfeel of the spaghetti!

The Laneway Market
I popped by the soft launch of The Laneway Market on 27th December and was really amazed at what Christopher has done with the entire place. From designing the place to coming up with the menu and all, immeasurable amount of hard work has been placed into this pretty cafe. I got to know Chris as he's one of my bakers for Mean Bean & Wicked Grind, and we have grown to become pretty great friends over the months. He pops by Mean Bean quite often and starting learning a little about coffee and the art of making coffee and I can't tell you how proud I am of him and The Laneway Market. And I'm definitely a proud shi-fu to see my disciple grow in his coffee-making hahaha

Insadong Korea Town
Media Invite
Located at Resorts World Sentosa, Insadong Korea Town is possibly the most authentically Korean dining establishment in Singapore. It is a huge project managed by Korean consultants, designed by Korean architects and helmed by Korean chefs. 99% of Insadong, including the floor tiles, are imported from Korea. Needless to say, I was really impressed by the dedication and effort put into the set-up of Insadong. Korean merchandise, from handcrafted souvenirs to local delicacies, are also painstakingly imported and up for sale here.
