Flock Cafe

A popular brunch spot in the popular Tiong Bahru Estate, Flock was packed when I got there on a Sunday afternoon. I made a reservation a day in advance for an outdoor table because I brought the little furball with me!

Mocha - $6
Pretty latte art but the flavour of chocolate and coffee was too mild

The fluffball making friends with strangers, as usual

Iced Latte - $6.50
Decent coffee that was a little too milky. Would have been great if it was stronger!

Big Brekkie - $21.90
My partner in crime for the day has been to Flock countless of times and she felt that the chef at Flock must have changed because the food tasted different on her past two visits too. The scrambled eggs and sausage were really dry and she couldn't stop going on about how good the food used to be haha. I wouldn't know but coming from someone who's been here twenty times, I think I could trust her on that

Cheeky Eggs - $15.90
The braised pork cheeks were yummy and flavourful but the dish was pretty disappointing as the eggs were overcooked and the creamy hollandaise was lacking in taste.

Heard some good stuff about their pasta and will return to give it a shot if time allows!
