X and I used to frequent Portsdown and Wessex because we could bring the little furball there. And new to the dog-friendly Portsdown area is Revolution Coffee. And they welcome dogs too!
Located at Infinite Studios, it might be difficult to locate Revolution Coffee as the address and location is not reflected on most GPS. Enter via the Portsdown exit on the AYE and you'll see Infinite Studios soon enough. The roads are a little confusing though! You can park your cars just by the road
Waffles was given a water bowl by the friendly staff! Furry friends are welcomed on the weekends!
Iced Latte - $6.50
A little sour on the first taste but it grows on you gradually!
Pancakes with gula melaka butterscotch and bananas - $11.90
Wanted some poached eggs but they weren't on the menu so this caught my eye! The pancakes were not like the usual fluffy pancakes. These pancakes were flat and eggy. The homemade gula melaka butterscotch was really incredible. It's sticky and sweet and goes really well with the pancakes. Even though I like my pancakes fluffy, I have to admit that this entire combination really worked!
Big Brunch Breakfast - $16.902 eggs (scrambled / sunny side up)
Bacon/ Sausage / Ham
Tomato confit / Mushrooms/ Caramelized Onions
Sourdough toast and butter
Apart from the creamy and fluffy scrambled eggs, this breakfast platter didn't really impress.
The brunch selection isn't very extensive for now but I'm sure the good people behind Revolution Coffee are looking to add more items in!
We sat outdoors with Waffles and it was a relaxing Sunday afternoon! I really liked the quiet surroundings and a cafe that welcomes Waffles will always earn extra brownie points from us!
