Ikoi Japanese Restaurant

Photobucket
This is probably my 5th time at Ikoi but I love this place because they have the best sashimi buffet in Singapore! You can find Japanese buffets ranging from $20-$30 out there but these buffets might not have sashimi or their sashimi is not of too great a quality or they only have the more common sashimi like salmon and tuna.

Over at Ikoi, you get SWORDFISH(my favourite), salmon, tuna, yellowtail, snapper, cuttlefish and octopus. Free flow of swordfish sashimi. That is more than enough to make your $35++ worth it.

Located at Miramar hotel, Ikoi is extremely popular. You can't get a seat at Ikoi if you don't reserve in advance. For weekends, its recommended that you reserve a few days in advance.

They have an extremely wide variety and its definitely worth the money to dine here. We did not try most of the items as the sushi and the rice/udon/soba would have been extremely filling. Haha. Had to save our tum tums for sashimi!

The fresh sashimi, the efficient service, the wide variety and the fact that you can stay here for 4 hours more than justify the $35++. Definitely one of the best buffets in Singapore!

  1. Many people choose great dining restaurants for a special occasion, so the food must not disappoint- in either selection or quality. You don’t need to feature a huge menu, but it should be interesting, offering unique items that patrons wouldn’t find at any other restaurant.
