The Missing Pan
The Missing Pan is a new brunch spot by the people behind Upper Crust. It caught my eye when I was driving along Bukit Timah one day and I knew I would be here soon haha
Simple and unpretentious
There's an elevator that brings you to the second level!
We got ourselves a seat on the second level, by the window. We were the only ones around as it was 11am on a weekday, and we loved how quiet and relaxing it was to dine here
Iced Latte - $6.50
A large glass of iced latte that was pretty decent
Lychee and Lemon Soda - $7
A unique concoction that was more of a miss than hit in my opinion
62 Degrees Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon - $22
Smoked salmon, avocado, eggs, seaweed crumbs and creamy hollandaise on freshly baked sourdough. Doesn't that sound delicious and enticing? The egg yolks were perfectly runny and it was pure joy watching them burst out as I cut gently into them. The avocado balanced out the savouriness of the smoked salmon and the hollandaise added a delightful final touch. This dish was incredibly filling. I was pretty full after just finishing one portion of the two. And I didn't even touch the salad. Recommended to be shared if you aren't a big eater!
62 Degrees Eggs Benedict with Ham - $19
A large plate of goodness with buttered corn, sauteed spinach and mushrooms, honey grilled Gammon ham, hollandaise and sourdough. Yum.
I like dining at The Missing Pan. The food's pretty good, the staff are attentive, and I like the ambience. However, the place gets crazy noisy when there are other patrons around because it's quite enclosed and I can imagine how noisy it can get on a weekend but this place is definitely worth a visit!
I'll be back to try other items, on a weekday, soon!
